I love these threads. Im going to a wedding in March, church and traditional old building/house for reception. What should I wear? I don’t think we’ll be outside too much.

I’m currently a size 14-16, more of a pear shape. I’m useless with styles so don’t know what goes or what people wear these days. I’m mid thirties and tend to live in jeans or leggings with baggy tops and covered in coffee/baby food. What would suit me?

You don’t give a budget! So I’ll suggest this while the field is still open:

The puffed sleeves will balance out a pear shape.

Or how about this which is ridiculously good value:

As you haven't given a budget. This caught my eye a couple days ago. If I needed a new dress for a specific event I'd buy this and then wear the hell out of it on every conceivable occasion where I could wear it. Including the office in summer.

Roman clothes have a big sale on at the moment. I have a few dresses from there well actually from eBay and Vinted but the advert that just popped up said 70% off. It could be worth looking at.

I like these actually

and oh god like £100 max haha

Have to agree with @Bessienol

Horrible dresses, and also ridiculous prices.

I can't see that a mid 30s person with baby is going to have £630+ to chuck at a dress

(Sorry, @Lelophants I am here for the ideas, rather than having any advice).
