Which dress for winter wedding?

Hi all, I have a wedding at the end of November in England. I have got these 2 dresses, same style just different colour and size but I am indecisive. I have 2.5 st recently so still a bit lost on what looks good or not.
Which one do you think looks better?

The darker blue is more flattering. They are both lovely though but it fits well and suits you more.

The darker one is much more flattering, and I know it's the same dress but the lighter one looks a little cheaper/ inferior somehow.

MsBubbles85 · 16/01/2025 15:29

Thank you @Kastri and @MrsCrabOrange - that has been the same my friends have told me but I think I just wanted a completely neutral opinion!

The larger one is definitely too big.

LadyKenya · 16/01/2025 15:35

The darker blue is a better fit in the body, apart from the arms, which would be too long.

JustLikeThatBluebird · 16/01/2025 15:38

The darker one is a better colour and better fit on you.

Halavonna · 16/01/2025 15:41

Darker one. It's lovely and you look great in it too. Enjoy the wedding.

Being cheeky here but I think pink or silver accessories would be fab with that.

MsBubbles85 · 16/01/2025 15:47

Thanks everyone! It feels so good to able to fit in a size S after all the exercise and hard work.

@Halavonna thanks! was thinking on golden ones, but I still have time to think about that. At least I got the dress on the sales!

Darker one 100 percent

deeahgwitch · 16/01/2025 16:11

I love the darker one on you.
Where is it from ?

TwigletsAndRadishes · 16/01/2025 16:12

I prefer the darker blue. I think it's more elegant and more versatile. It's a beautiful dress and you look great in it.

Ah I thought it might be @MsBubbles85
Thank you 💐

The darker one is gorgeous on you.

NewZealandintherain · 16/01/2025 16:24

They’re both lovely. Gorgeous for a winter wedding. I would get a more supportive bra -I hope you don’t mind my saying!

MsBubbles85 · 16/01/2025 16:26

@NewZealandintherain thanks! I just tried it with an old sports bra...one of the things in my list after the weight lost is to get new bras!

Sorry! I did feel bad typing that but wanted to be helpful. Well done with the weight loss. Both those dresses are lovely!

Greyish2025 · 16/01/2025 16:52

Darker one is more elegant

Peachbubble · 16/01/2025 17:08

Another vote for the darker one!

DGPP · 16/01/2025 17:18

Darker but it needs elevating for a wedding with gold or silver! Will look fabulous

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/01/2025 17:21

Darker for sure. It’s lovely.
