Thank you all so much for all these amazing suggestions (and for no one having told me I could have found the same dress cheaper by George at Asda :). I'm going through all of them.
@Garlicnorth Yeah, the studs are pretty awful. Not sure what possessed me. I'm not a huge wedge lover, so don't know how much use I'd get out of a pair. Although I can always be converted for the right pair! And, to be fair, my absolute favourite boots ever are these, which have a definite wedge https://www.24s.com/en-gb/rumi-cowboy-heeled-ankle-boots-ann-demeulemeester_ADMG4DF3BCKUZA1A00?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADL9HX709h4VNZZ5fk8DiSgxHvlzN&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzvyDgeT8igMVTZhQBh3AAy_DEAQYByABEgKX5_D_BwE

My sister has those Louboutin sandals, so I'm going to try them. Her feet are a tiny bit smaller than mine, so I'm not sure if they'll fit.
@Sonant
Ok, I love those Pradas except for that bloody logo. It drives me mad.
Hair: No idea what colour it is, and have no intention of finding out anytime soon, but thanks to my hairdresser it looks like it's darkish brown with a few caramel bits. Shoulder length. It's what I think of a solid hair - decent but not exciting in any way. It can go up or down.

I can't decide about the Dries shoes. I sort of love them and sort of hate them. It might be that you have to be American to have this particular dread, but I'm always afraid of anything that I think could make me look like a Mar-a-Lago hanger on.
I'm going to see if I can hunt down a pair of the Tibi Curly Victors, which seem to be mostly sold out.
Just to muddy the water a little more, I decided it would be nice if I could make this bag work. It's an old favourite that rarely gets an outing because it's awful to carry, so only works at events where you arrive with it and then hang in on your chair
