Has anyone had any jewellery from the Diamond Store? And if so, would you recommend them? Thanks

I have a diamond tennis bracelet from them and delighted with it! I did lose a diamond from it about 11 months after bought it so contacted them and they told me to send it back and they replaced the whole bracelet! Fantastic customer service!

Recommend Comparethediamond.com. Great service and good prices.

Shitty. Brought a necklace with pendant. The necklace broke after a week. The store said I'd only brought the pendant. The necklace was thrown in for free (the pic online showed a pendant on a necklace. The image was misleading) I had to pay to replace the necklace and went elsewhere to buy this.
Never again

I’ve had a few pieces from there. Stopped buying from them after issues with a tennis bracelet. They replaced the first time and refused to replace the replacement after that broke after a few months.

OK thanks all. Doesn't sound like they're very good then at all. Seems like you do get what you pay for! I'll strike them off my list

I bought a ring and it cracked but they said they would fix it

Puppylucky · 16/01/2025 18:07

Second the recommendation for Abelini in terms of quality but the designs can be a bit weird /dated

Sambucus · 16/01/2025 18:15

Yes, agree with the Comparethediamond recommendation. They were very helpful and patient and great value.

I have a tennis bracelet. The clasp didn’t work on receipt, so we sent it back and they fixed it. Delighted with it, but it then developed several defects on the back. I had worn it very little and there was absolutely no reason for it.

The Diamond Store refused to replace it unless we paid £150. No possibility of a refund. It was only a year old.

We paid them, reluctantly. I have a new one but I’m concerned the same will happen.

I’ve since read plenty of similar online comments. For this reason, I’d be extremely wary of buying from them.

I’ve bought a few bits from there and my ring and earrings are fine, like others it was the tennis bracelet clasp that was an issue. I took it to a jewellers and they tightened the clasp and put a safety chain on for good measure and fingers crossed since then (one year on) no issues.

HansHolbein · 16/01/2025 18:32

No, I wouldn’t.

Bought a ring from there which was very expensive, in the thousands.

Received the ring. I noticed there was a scuff on the sapphire. They apologised, replaced the sapphire and sent it back. When I received it the prongs weren’t touching the sapphire which made it likely to fall out. Sent back. I was very unhappy at this point.

They then decided to make the ring from scratch. They told me it would be 4 weeks. It ended up being 6 weeks.

In fairness, they did give me £100 compensation and paid for the insurance for the ring for a year but I wouldn’t dare trust them with any repairs/cleaning/resizing.

Please go to your local jeweller.

If you do decide to go with them please be aware that most of their items show as ’in stock’ and then once you pay, you are sent an email saying it isn’t in stock and will take 4 weeks to make. Very annoying.

Ps look on Tripadvisor - some of the reviews for them really aren’t good.

Kamek · 16/01/2025 18:49

OK thanks all. What about Diamonds factory? Have anybody bought from them?
