What's meadowhall like these days?

Hi,

I need to buy a lot of new clothes as I'm returning to the office full time after many years WFH. Meadowhall is very easy for me to get to but I haven't been in years so I don't know how well stocked the stores in there are these days. I'll be mostly looking in Reiss, Mango and Zara. The alternative is I go to Birmingham but it's much more of a faff to get to and would mean less shopping time. I need to be able to try stuff on and will probably be wondering back and forth between shops to get the right combination of stuff. Not having to go outside is a big draw of meadowhall over Birmingham in that respect too.

I'd appreciate your opinion if you've been recently. Thanks

I went just before Xmas, busy enough plenty of shops only noticed the odd one boarded up.

I visited Meadowhall in October and live in Birmingham, I wouldn't say there is anything massively different that Birmingham has that Meadowhall doesn't have. You could do Meadowhall and if you still need stuff Trafford Centre/Manchester would have all the shops Birmingham has

Thank you! I'll give meadowhall a whirl. I live sort of equidistant from there and Birmingham, sadly the Trafford centre is well out of the way. I love Birmingham but it's such a pain in the arse to drive in out of and I can't face the train if I've got lots of bags to carry.
