Really nice pyjamas?

A year ago I got a pair of very nice pyjamas from Jigsaw - they're are dark green with drawings of corgis on them. They're very well made, with smart black piping, and altogether are a luxury (they were expensive) that makes me happy every time I wear them.

Where else can I find really nice pyjamas? I've tried Desmond & Dempsey and don't think the cotton is very good quality - it feels a bit flimsy and cheap given how expensive they are.

I'd love any recs particularly from small companies!

I really like Chelsea Peers, they wash well and last years.

They are quite popular amongst insta-mums atm, but I liked them before the hype.

Derek Rose are the best, amazing quality. Not cheap though.

Fable and Eve are really nice, I've bought hen as gifts for people too who said they loved them

I bought my daughter some pyjamas from TBCo and they are fabulous, might get myself some too.

I like Fable and Eve too, but tend to go for the sale!

They are part of cyberjammies so I use them too but I quite often don't like the patterns on cyberjammies.

I also like Yawn but again they're a sale purchase. The winter weight is quite thick, the summer weight is softer.

Another vote for Yawn pyjamas, they are so comfy and wash very well. Mine have lasted ages. Also, just bought a couple of pairs frim Stripe and Stare, very soft and comfortable fabric.

Exactly this.

I'm pleasantly surprised the quality has stayed the same given the recent rising popularity.

I have a marvellous pair of double gauze pyjamas from Muji which are soft, comfortable and very flattering, and a lovely self-striped pair from Cos. I was surprised that the Cos ones were such a good fit as I am v short and am often swamped by their stuff, but the pjs somehow work. I would also recommend The Pyjama House - their summer short pjs have been excellent and all my family love their pj bottoms.

I was going to say Chelsea Peers too. No idea about insta-mum hype but happened upon a set in the sales recently and they are awesome. Really soft and wash well.

Perfectlystill · 14/01/2025 14:01

Thanks all! I haven't even heard of most of these so shall get googling, thank you!

British Boxers are good quality. I have some Jigsaw ones I love too! I don't think Cyberjammies wear well

TianasBayou · 14/01/2025 14:29

Seasalt - very fine light cotton. Generously sized. If you like the prints (I do).

I looked at D&D pjs recently in a shop and was not impressed with how thin the cotton was especially for the price.

Hush do very good flannel ones, albeit slightly oversized. I often buy them as gifts for people I know who appreciate nice pjs, as they have new patterns each year and come with a little matching pouch. I think some are still on sale right now.

I love my hush flannel ones, they’ve worn & washed so well & are still going strong years later.
