Silk in summer

Im trying to incorporate more natural fabrics in my wardrobe and found a gorgeous silk charmeuse top. It’s very much a summer top. But would a top made out of silk be ideal for summer it will it be sweaty? I don’t go abroad typically so it will only need to be suitable for an English summer.

I like silk in the summer provided it's loose fitting. Yes I still sweat in it but, unlike cotton or linen, I find it dries very quickly.

I don;t recommend. It can get sweaty and sweat stains silk

I've never really found it to be hot enough here to sweat onto silk, so I wear it a lot. I could prob even be ok up to about temps of 35.
But you know the way your body behaves in UK temperatures.
