Help short jacket recommendation

I am 5ft tall (size 10 approx depending on time of the month 😂) need a recommendation for a short jacket (short length) that is loose enough to wear very thick jumpers underneath. Have never been able to find anything suitable!

What type of jacket are you after, and is it for casual wear, work, or going out?
What sort of fabric and finish?
Would it be for protection against the weather?
What sort of colour?

For casual wear. Warm fabric but doesn't need to be super warm as wanted for layering. Dark colour. Doesn't have to be waterproof.

I wear denim jackets because of all the pockets. A chore jacket might work. Try M &S or Seasalt.

You could wear a bomber jacket.

Sorry, I'm not very fashionable, but someone else might come along and suggest something.
Try doing a search for short boxy jacket. A tweedy one might be nice.
