I am feeling so sorry for myself atm - been having painful foot issues for a while and just before Christmas was diagnosed with hallux limitus ( could be whole thread by itself) but to the style and beauty part - I've been advised that I need to wear specific trainers and they really do make my foot so much more comfortable but they are so ugly and I'm feeling really sad about all my cute trainers that I can't wear - I've attached what they look like - any ideas of what to wear with this?? Since buying them I've been living in gym clothes as that's the only thing I can picture them with.... so depressed about life with not cute shoes....

What about some jeans that sit on the trainers? Like these Carter - High Waisted Wide Raw Hem Jeans - Organic Cotton – Lucy & Yak

Thanks - I have jeans exactly like this which I love but when I try them on with my 'special' shoes it just makes me feel like I have missed the mark or misunderstood the assignment! But maybe I need to get over it - thx!

If it makes you feel any better, wearing those sort of trainers with jeans is 'in' right now, and very few people will be looking at your feet anyway! 😄Would a darker colour make you feel any better about them? You could always dye them.

I wear a different sort of special trainer. I have to wear them all the time. Thankfully they come in lots of colours and I coordinate my outfits with them. But beyond that I just choose clothes I like and accept I have to wear the same shoes whatever the occsssion

Thanks it's made me feel a little better - it's all just new and I'm feeling a bit limited in my footwear which feels limiting in my clothing which I'm not used to - ah well - if it stops the pain it will be worth it!
