Shoes/boots for work

I’m hoping for some advice on shoes for work. Im in a corporate environment but don’t have to be super smart. But I’m stumped in shoes/boots to go with work trousers. Everything I have makes me look like a frump.
i like loafers, flats and can wear heels but they would need to be block type so I can walk! Mainly wear black:navy trousers with straight or wide legs. Currently teamed with flat brown boots. They don’t look great.
I could wear trainers if they were very “smart”. Not sure they exist! All advice gratefully received!

I’d love to know the answer here! Have some lovely pointed grey flats which worked with navy trousers but they aren’t suitable for this weather so also a bit stumped!

Chunky loafers

I’d love to have some ideas too. I haven’t got anything suitable really for this weather.

Alas we are to be a shoeless bunch!

I have some smart ankle boots with a shaped block heel. They are black and have laces at the front. A bit of a turn of the century vibe but they are very comfortable and look very neat under trousers. They also work with the dresses I wear and with jeans at weekends. They have an almond toe.

They are 3 or 4 years old and I go back to them again and again.

Cirque de Soleil.

Looking for ideas too. Wide leg trousers and a high block heel used to be my go to. Those trousers with flats look ridiculous.

Skinner ankle grazers with flats? Are they still OK?

Its a minefield - how to look modern and hip without looking line mutton. Bloody hell.
