How would you describe this style?

Is it only for the tall & slim?

What’s the quality like?

I’m returning to work after maternity leave in a few months & I’m using this as a chance to overhaul my wardrobe. I really like the look of Sezanne but I’ve never bought from there before. I want to look put together & want to buy quality. I’m 5ft 6, size 12.

I’m also 5ft 6 and size 12 and have some lovely knits and t-shirts from Sezane. The quality is great but they are very expensive.

Never tried bottoms but I am pear shaped/hippy/big bum and I think (possibly completely wrong here) that they might cut for more straight up and down figures.

I have a jumper and socks.
Nice quality, I'm sure they would look better on the tall and slim but I'm neither and would still buy more examples.

Sizing is weird. I bought a size 40 dress (I am a UK 10 with D boobs) expecting to need to size up and the thing is like a tent. I didn’t expect that.

I think it used to be good but like everything now is owned (to some degree) by private equity and thus enshittification ensues. I don’t get the hype and the compositions do not justify the price. I have seen nice things on other people but never been lucky enough to find them myself.

Quality very variable, I have one Chloë shirt that I love but had to return others because they were like tissue paper.

Knitwear too boxy for me but great range.

Coats, bags and boots are brilliant

I think I’m after a bit of a one stop shop style wise. Nothing fits me anymore (except for leggings) so I’m starting from scratch. For research purposes I put everything I liked in the cart & it came to £1800 so it’s more than I wanted to spend (about £1k).

I find the sizing is on the larger size with Sezane.
