Thought I'd start a follow on thread as I'm not about till tomorrow and I'm loving see all the LD arrivals, definitely doing some more next week.

@manpan1 - I can confirm that the free Midi with spend over £50 is still on. They are also adding in a free Mini as well with orders over £60.

Very tempted that the offer is still on! But the only midi I would like is the Carnaby XL and I don’t think that style has ever gone into LD. I guess I could sell the midi on vinted and use the money towards one, but yes, vinted may be pretty flooded!

Argh I don't know what to do! I'm the overseas poster who got shafted by customs last time.

My dd is going travelling, like far away travelling, and I've offered up my large flax canvas Finchley that I got in LD last year. She has to take her laptop along with her, and has suggested a large Longchamp might suit her better. All fine and well, but they are horrendously expensive here. And not that great at protecting a laptop I don't think.

So, to cut a long story short, if I do go for the LD (which I was really convinced I wasn't going to), would anyone like to take a guess on my chances of getting another large Finchley. Has anyone emailed and 'suggested' what they would prefer?

I haven't seen any recent posts of anyone receiving them, but I am also not in the FB group.

😹😹😹@manpan1 I admit I have cracked. I wasn’t strong enough to resist two freebies.

I ordered 2 x Maxi LD and a random pair of socks: £66.50. ROKA then chucked in a free LD Midi and a free LD Mini.

There’s no code now, (all this chopping and changing of promotions is very odd!)

The way it works is: Once you have met the criteria, you have to click on the ‘add free Midi/Mini’ box, (complete with helpful pictures!)

I only found out about the extra Mini because when I had 2 x Maxi dips in my basket, it popped up with ‘you are only 10p away from a free Mini’.

Who knows how long this offer will last or if there will be a better/different one later in the week 🤷‍♀️

I am fully expecting to get 2 x Bantry B small in psychedelic colours, a bum bag and yet another Chelsea. (This would completely serve me right for ordering again😹)

@IlovePond That made me laugh out loud. I am absolutely not caving this time. I just bought a Trafalgar off FB today - I didn't need it and I have 2 maxis and a midi on the way from yesterday's order. Officially out of control.

@isthismylifenow I got a large Finchley in my first order on Boxing Day (that order seems so long ago now!) and there are lots of others posted online for swaps so they are being sent out. I think you are more likely to receive a large backpack if you order at least 2 maxis at once... they might send a large and a small, or a large, medium and small if you order 3. You can part fund it by adding the free midi and free mini and selling those too. And sell/return any maxis you don't want. Our teenage son just took my Finchley. I literally only used it once. He seems very happy with it. We bought our daughter a Longchamp for Christmas - she loves it but it has no protective padding and it's nowhere near as practical for travelling.

@manpan1 thanks so much. I can assure you I would be very addicted if it were not for the duties we get charged, so in a way it's a good restraint. 😂

I also feel the Longchamp isn't the best option. And can you even take the large as hand luggage usually? I haven't seen a large size in the flesh, only the small.

Thank you for the tips on the freebies at the moment. I am going to go and have a play around and see what happens.

So weird how I have become really fond of my Trafalgar, (the shape/style, if not the colour), given how much I disliked it at first.

If I get a backpack in my order, (fingers crossed), I will give first refusal to my risk-averse friend, (the one who wanted to order a Maxi but was too scared to as she hates surprises!)

I am also hoping to - finally - get something big enough for DH’s laptop. I must admit, I almost did a full price order for him instead, (but that would have been too sensible 🙀)

This is annoying. I just placed an order for a full price large Finchley (what I was hoping for in the LD) last night for DS's birthday and got the free midi dip. If I'd waited until today I'd have got 2 lucky dips. I don't seem to be that lucky when it comes to Roka. 😂

That is very annoying @OvaHere - do you think it might be worth emailing ROKA and asking them to either cancel the order so you can reorder or to add the free Mini for you? Might be worth a try.

I suppose I could email them about it. The key worker discount didn't stack either which was a shame and they seem to have reduced it down to only £5 off which is why I chose the LD rather than the discount.

I was annoyed about the changes to the k/w discount too @OvaHere - it’s a bit naughty changing the terms of that midway through the LD promotion. However, I cracked and ordered again when the offers got better.

If you do message them, let us know what they say, (if you don’t mind, that is).

Well that is that plan out of the window.

Added to basket and got the free mini and midi, but the worldwide shipping fee makes it very much not worthwhile bearing in mind I'll have duties too.

I've tried all of the older codes, none are working now for international shipping.

I caved and ordered the Canfield B in teal medium that I've been eyeing up. The offer of 2 lucky dips was too much 🤣🤣🤣

Let's share what we are all going to do frrom 1st February. This is my list:

1. Stop checking the Roka website. FB and MN for latest Roka offers
2. Stop lusting after bags that I don't need
3. Start paying attention to children and husband without asking them if they need another rucksack (as an excuse to place another order for me)
4. Let others answer the door to the postman, because I won't need to hide a parcel from my husband

Anyone else?

Lolz, I've definitely be doing number 3. My teenagers just don't understand why I need so many bags, I just said it's something that happens when you get older.

I am very tempted to get a Gatwick and would definitely use this when go away in the UK as I currently just use a big shopping bag. Pockets for shoes etc would be great as I always end up forgetting spare shoes.

Plus, they might even match the freebies to colour choice 🤔

This new offer may well break my resolve. I see five new bags coming my way...

Does anyone have Canfield mid or dark blue canvas medium rucksack to swap for a pale yellow one with black tags and labels?

I have just succumbed to the pull of ROKA and ordered 3 more maxi dips (plus the free mini and midi). I clearly don’t need any more backpacks as I already have received four plus a Trafalgar and a Chelsea but I find dipping so much fun!

Will definitely need to be ruthless and decide which ones I can keeping and which ones I can hopefully sell on the Facebook group.

See and you all thought I was the bad influence! 🤣🤣 ive only bought one big dip this year and Roka sent me out a second one free as I bought my first bits boxing day at the peak of the small bantry debacle! Otherwise one midi marine Paddington and some littles: teeny Paddington, random tote bag, a chelsea which is useless as you can only get your phone in. oh and some useful socks! I only really want to buy more socks but they are sold out, boooo. I am most defo done with the dips this year and happy with my slightly oversized collection from the past couple of years of dips 😂
