Well, I packed my Canfield beautifully for our trip away but have had to turn around and come home because the storm made driving too dangerous 😾

I will NOT be ordering more bags to cheer myself up..

Well my maxi arrived today, a small bantry in neon blue. It's not actually that neon but I already have a blue bantry! (Also, how the heck do they have any small bantry left?!)

I'm a bit disappointed so if anyone wants to swap please let me know. Happy with a small bantry or other rucksack, just prefer deeper colours/purple/teal/green etc.

Must admit I’m surprised that they are still sending out so many small Bantrys. That blue is nice but they are just too small for me!

I spoke to them today about returns and they said they have mainly Canfield left in the maxi dip now. I worried about returning my small finchley and getting another bantry or finchley (I have several of each) and I was told I am likely to receive a Canfield, just based on stock left

I can’t believe I am thinking about ordering more maxi LD following your information!

I ordered on 19 Jan. Packing slip implies the order was packed on 21st. Received today. A black creative waste medium Canfield (already received one from earlier LD). And another of their bottomless supply of small bantry. Was hoping for a canvas Canfield. Free midi was a Paddington in Marine.

@Sigma8 You can return them. I now have 4 Finchleys (2 from last year and 2 from this year), 3 bantry and 4 Paddingtons!! No other bag types. Just that limited range!
I am returning 1 Finchley and 2 Paddingtons, just based on the info gleaned today. I asked how to return the 'free midi' because there is no option on the returns portal and I was asked to return it in the parcel and they would trust me. They then asked me what I was hoping for, so I said "pretty much anything apart from a Paddington B" and I just received an email confirming they have despatched a beautiful Kennington. They really do go above and beyond. No idea what the maxi will be but I am happy with the Kennington that's on its way. Just love Roka

Would love to swap for your neon blue bantry. I have small bantry’s in cranberry, Kelly green and graphite if you fancy any of these? (as I also ended up with small bantry’s from the lucky dip)

What have the recent maxis been like?

I keep trying in hopes of getting a medium Finchley in any colour except grey. It’s just not happening for me so far.

For my maxis this week, I got a trafalgar in canvas smoke which was quite nice, but a bit dark, and a Canfield medium in seaport which my son is having and is over the moon with (I’m a bit jealous actually but I promised him if I get a blue bag he can have it).

I’m having one more go though as I really do want a Finchley! I keep seeing all these gorgeous green and blue ones and I’d love one.

Me too. I keep getting small bantry s, I do have one in marine which I do like but debating another maxi dip for a medium Finchley or Canfield.
Does anyone reckon they'll be more offers this weekend?

I tried to exchange my lucky dips just now, but it says ineligible for return, not sure what I'm doing wrong!

I got a Carnaby wallet with wrist strap in hickory which is lovely, a small Paddington in cranberry, a Chelsea in saffron and a bigger Paddington in orange (none of which I want to keep!)

@BeFluentNavyBee Have a look at your order and check whether the order is showing as 'fulfilled' or 'unfulfilled'. If it's 'unfulfilled' just call them and ask them to mark it as 'fulfilled' because otherwise the portal won't let you return something that it thinks hasn't been despatched yet

2 Maxi Dips ordered at the weekend with free midi dip.

I had really been hoping for a canvas Finchley but I also truly love the canvas purple and bamboo Canfield that I received for my first dip so much - do I need both though?

Yellow is not my thing so will rehome the bantry. As I'd already bought another Paddington from a lovely person on this thread, will put the marine paddington away for DDs b'day.

I might have accidentally maxi Dipped a few more times on blue Monday and one of them also arrived today: A small black and teal bantry. The colour combo is fab but I don't travel light so it's prob too small for me.

I'd love to hear how people manage with a small backpack. Maybe just don't have kids🤔

I am trying to think of the small Bantrys as similar to a cross-body size but with back straps. Could actually be quite a good thing for me as I can't stand heavy cross body bags pulling me down.

I have one child, and everything I need for him fits in a small Bantry. I listed everything I could fit in it in a previous post, but I'm still in the toddler stage so it fits baby wipes, tissues, a full outfit change, drinks and snacks etc.

I could definitely fit the stuff for multiple older kids in it. I guess other people must carry a lot more stuff around for their kids, but I can’t think what it would be.

When is the last day?

My mini arrived, it's a Paddington D in a gorgeous plum colour but I'm not sure I'll use it so will probably vinted it.

I just heard from Roka and they said I can only return lucky dip items for a refund and not exchange, so I think I'll pop them on Vinted for cost price
