Hat lines!

It’s freezing where I am so I’m wearing a wooly hat. It’s quite a cozy one from Next but it leaves the most horrible lines on my forehead! Shall I ditch it or are there any hacks to save it? I was thinking of sewing a smooth piece of cloth where it touches my forehead… thanks!

It’s a case of one size fits almost nobody. It sounds too small.

If it wasn’t too expensive l would take it to a charity shop and replace with a hat sold in hat sizes; they do exist.
