Nostril piercing asset management

Hi
I am moving from insurance into asset management in a non customer facing role. Do you think they will be bothered by my nose piercing? It's a small silver nostril ring, very subtle (not a septum piercing)

I had a stud in for the interview and nothing was said. I'm just wondering if anyone works in asset management and what the industry is like? It's a large asset manager in the city, not a hedge fund type place. I've not had it in for long so would be keen to keep it! Dress code states 'no formal dress code' so hoping it's ok.

Are piercings and tattoos acceptable in AM?

Maybe l should not be responding as l do not work in AM. But l do have a nose stud and a professional job.

l think discreet nose jewellery is totally acceptable these days. I really do not think you will have a problem, especially as there is no dress code. Enjoy your new job. x

I work In a corporate job and have a small diamond nose stud

I'm corporate. I wear a stud. Some wear a very thin ring. Both look lovely but I feel a hoop is for home. I used to work in asset management and it was the type of environment where you would have stood out but also no one would have minded if you did the job well.

I work in corporate law in the City and recently had second piercings in my earlobes done. When I was planning this I started paying attention to my colleagues' piercings out of interest, and realised one of my colleagues has a nose ring I had honestly never noticed before. So I think you will be fine!
