Hello, I get a lot of my wardrobe from whistles but finding quality not as good these days and looking for advice on other brands to try which are similar in style?

Also buy from M&S, Baukjen, Sweaty Betty but wonder if there are other brands out there for me??!!

Looking for nice clothes that last a long time, look good without being too “fashionable”!!

I am 5foot 9 size 10 and 41 yo!!

I shop at Hobbs, Phase Eight, Mint Velvet as well as Whistles. I'm a bit Bohemian too so buy the odd thing from Monsoon and Sezanne too. And Reiss and Karen Millen. Lots of decent basics from Zara, Mango and John Lewis own line.

If you like whistles, I would look at Sezane, Reiss (though tends to be more structured than Whistles), All Saints and possibly Me & Em. Maybe Rixo for dresses.

Jigsaw, Sezane.

Hi OP
I also wore Whistles for years & it was my go-to for everything including coats / bags / shoes etc

But I have found the quality definitely dwindling in recent years + they are not as stylish anymore either.

I now shop at ME+EM, Maje, ba&sh, The Kooples, Sandro - i buy in the sales in these shops.

For more day to day - M&S, COS, and the occasional thing like plain wool jumpers in Benetton

Before Whistles, Jigsaw was my no 1 shop. But it closed down in my city so I sort of forgot about it.
They still have beautiful coats & knitwear though
