First date outfit - help!

I’ve left this so last minute but I’m panicking as not sure I have anything appropriate to wear! I have a first date tomorrow, we’re going for a casual dinner at 7 - tapas style, so not too formal. I’m not a dress and heels kind of girl, and it’s also bloody freezing here so need to bear that in mind!

I’ve lost 4 stone since the summer, I’m a size 12-14 and I barely have anything that fits me now. I have some mom jeans but no ‘nice’ tops other than jumpers. I have a fairly hourglass shape, although I’m conscious of my tummy.

My options are… a red and black long sleeved dress with a mesh overlay, it’s a bit too ‘sexy’ I think and v fitted. A jumpsuit which is like a shirt style so feels a bit utility jumpsuit and it skims my ankles so not sure what shoes I’d wear. I have a few midi skirts which are my go to, but only have T-shirts or jumpers to go with them - also the outfit I had in mind to wear I’m wearing in my OLD profile photo so I feel like that has to be ruled out!

helpppp! I’m wondering if I should be doing a mad dash to the shops when I finish work tomorrow!

I wouldn’t rule it out. Most blokes wouldn’t recognise it from a photo or even care! In the unlikely event he does notice, at least he’ll recognise you!

…just wear something that you feel most comfortable in. Wide leg jeans and boots with a jumper and white shirt peeping out from underneath + pretty earrings/bracelets? That way you can relax and focus on your date. No need to rush out and buy new things. Have fun!

Definitely go for casual and comfortable, as in something you feel confident in. I think if you love the outfit from your OLD picture wear that- as people say he probably won’t even notice! I wouldn’t panic buy something as tried and tested is best for a first date. Good luck
