Fisherman sandals? Still in? Do your toes pop out the side?

😆 I like them but could be a bit late to the party. Like these on white stuff, very soft comfortable leather and a nice shape. But. Are they going to be dated this summer, I'm not sure if they're 'classic' or a current thing. The shape of them is certainly classic with the almond toe which I like.
Also, if I find my little toes are going to be popping out of the sides after some wear I'll not be a happy bunny.😂
They're a bargain for smart sandals, I think suitable for the office. Opinions welcome!

I'm considering this style too. I work with a lot of extremely fashion conscious millennials and gen z and they wear them in summer so I think fairly 'in'. I also think, crucially it's the only summer shoe that has air flow and enough toe cover to be office appropriate. My worry is arch support as I have plantar fasciitis.

All my favourite shoe places are still selling them so I think they’ll still look current this summer. And your toes shouldn’t fall out if they’re properly made.

I know exactly what you mean about offices and bare feet. I don't know quite why. But they do offer airflow whilst still being quite closed. It's the toes in particular I prefer covered but hate hot feet in the summer. They don't have arch support but they are kind of soft in the sole.

I liked those but they didn't fit me, I bought them in the Next sale as they were bargainous but had to return, if your toes do pop out you could get some those slingback footsies M&S sell to hold them in 😀 I have a Josef Seibel pair that were quite expensive which I was hoping to wear for a few years yet so hoping they don't date to much but I think that style is probably alway ok as so practical.

Personally if I could, i would bring in a law than banned bare or peeping trotters in the workplace (anywhere ideally 😆)

(They do look like they fit your brief though so get them, especially at that price, while you still can).

I like them, they don't like my tiny toes. One of the blogs I read says that 2025 will be big on the 'Fisherman Aesthetic' and they included the shoes, so probably a trend continuing from 2024.

Does 'Fisherman Aesthetic' involve carrying around a stinking fishing bag, maggots, hooks etc?

I don't love the fisherman's style sandals but the selection of closed toe options is always woeful for some reason. Clarks used to do some styles but not over the last few years.

I bought these in white last summer and intend to wear them again this year; I love them.

Nice shoes but that model is going to have blisters- they're far too big.

I bought these last year and will be wearing them until they fall apart. They're so comfortable.
