Bra fitting

Hi, could anyone recommend somewhere to get measured for bras in the London area please? Not m and s/Lewises or Bravissimo. M and S and Lewis tend not to stock the size I need (cup size is bigger, back size is in a more regular range).I've not had great experiences in Bravissimo.

Thank you!

Thank you for that site, I'll have a look.

I found the shop assistants in a couple of different stores quite rude. I'd hope I'm an easy going customer and can usually build a good rapport with people so feel it's not me. Id be reluctant to shop there again.

I had a great experience in Bravissimo (Margaret St branch) so maybe you were unlucky. Rigby & Peller have a formidable reputation and we're very good when I went once years ago.

Bravissimo is the only place I trust now, albeit in Leeds. They gave me a different size (in fact slightly different sizes in different styles) to what either M&S, John Lewis or Boob or Bust website had. Bras fit like a dream, wish I'd made the effort to go to bravissimo sooner.

Having said that, and if you're in London (I appreciate it's a big place!), then Rigby and Peller seems to be the Rolls Royce of bra fitting.

What is the size you need, and what size did Bravissimo measure you as? Did they suggest a size you weren't happy with?

It seems odd if you have a standard back, that you can't find a bra with bigger cups even at Bravissimo.

I'm a 32H, so Bravissimo, or in-line, all the way. Yes, you won't find these in M&S or JL on the shop floor. I order several from wherever and return those that aren't good.

Rigby and Peller just off Regent Street.

Rigby & Peller are the specialists. I've tried M&S and Bravissimo, to try and avoid paying for the £100 Prima Donna bras I inevitably end up with at R&P! But nobody knows bras and boobs like R&P, and nothing fits me or lasts like Prima Donna.

I do sometimes buy cheaper bras for summer, but Freya, Panache, Pour Moi, Fantasie etc feel flimsy, uncomfortable and unflattering in comparison.

I always go to the Bravissimo branch off Oxford St. I always book an appointment as they get really busy but have always had a good experience with them. Some staff are better than others when it comes to suggesting different styles but I've never had one that is rude yet. I find their service is great too. I went before christmas for a fitting. Bought a bra and then when I wore it home the stitching near the clasp was faulty and was digging in. Did an online chat with them - they sent me out another one and I sent back the faulty one. No stress at all and very helpful. Maybe try a different branch of Bravissimo?
