Medium coverage foundation recommendations

I only wear foundation on 'special' occasions so I like medium coverage (I have bad acne scarring) but the one using at the moment is awful to remove, it seems to clog all my pores

Looking for good recommendations, I'm mid -40s so looking for something that gives me a bit of a glow as well as good coverage.

Not looking for cheapest, I don't mind spending a bit of money if it comes highly recommended

I would suggest checking out:

Chanel - Les Beiges
Nars - sheer glow (the foundation isn't sheer it is the glow that is sheer so it's not OTT at weddings you don't actually want to be toooo glowy if there's photography you can add strategic glow with highlight if required)

Highly recommend, but go to John Lewis or similar to get the right shade as it’s a very expensive mistake if you don’t like it or get the wrong shade.
