Smartish trousers for Rome

Size 16, leg 32.

I'm off to Rome shortly and need a pair of trousers for my 6 day trip. I have enough pairs of trousers for day but I'm short of slightly smarter ones for evenings. I'll be wearing them with smartish ankle boots.

Criteria
Colour: need to go with black and red
Style : anything except skinny leg, full elasticated waist due to bloating. NO jeans

No stiff material, sensory issue
Price up to £50 for something I can wear frequently, I don't work.

M&S do really nice jersey wide leg black trousers for £17.50. They look smart but v comfy!

Rome is amazing, depending on when you go you can have bright sunshine and lightening on the same day! Sainsbury's often have trousers which might tick your boxes jersey trousers are a good choice , comfy shoes and something to 'cover up with' if you want to look a religious buildings or crypts.
I loved Rome, have an amazing time :)

I've bought the velvet ones from Mons, I love velvet and wear it all year.
