Help me change my style

I'm mid50's and have just lost 6 stone (mounjaro) and still losing. I'm currently a size 20-22 and am feeling stuck in a rut as I see the body that I used to have when I was younger return. I know I've still got a long way to go, another few stone at least, but it's nice being "just" overweight instead of obese.
Anyhow, I'm also short and fairly curvy plus a freckle red head - dyed these days.
My style for the last decade or so has been dull, boring and frumpy - think white stuff and seasalt but more boring.
I used to be an edgy and sexy goth/punk and I know I'm too old and still too fat for that look, but would really appreciate some recommendations and ideas of how to edge nearer to my old self.

Can you take elements of your old goth past and incorporate it into your wardrobe? I did a style analysis a few years ago, and it encouraged your embrace your style personality, not avoid it (also in fifties). So can you get a goth tshirt, and wear it with (black?) jeans?

I would have said - for now - have some fun incorporating a punk / goth element via

haircut
make up
jewellery
hats / scarves / belts
hosiery
footwear

And wear those things against a very simple background of neutral / tonal co-ords in your preferred colour and fabrics. You can invest in the accessories for the long term, (if you like) but spend less on clothes as you anticipate continuing change in your clothes size.

Thanks for these! I only ever wear black jeans so that's a good starting point.
I need to do something with my hair. It's currently classic woman in 50's bob type thing with layers and sort of collar length. I fancy an asymmetric bob, but not brave enough for that!
