South of France, Cannes and Monaco - trainers!

We’re going in Spring and I’m looking for some affordable footwear that’ll be suited to lots of walking around especially up and down lots of steps.

My usual trainers have worn out so I need some replacements anyway.

I’ll be wearing mainly navy or plain black smart casual dresses. So I assume white or black trainers would look best?

I don’t have a big budget but am hoping to spend £50-£100 and look / feel nice.

I’m not letting redundancy ruin my holiday! But I also must be sensible with my spending.

Thanks

Bensimon are very popular in France and go well with dresses. Added bonus, they're very cheap (around €30 iirc) but if you need very cushioned sneakers they're maybe not the best choice.

Top end of your budget but I really like Paul Smith trainers - might be some in the sale that would work? https://www.paulsmith.com/uk/sale/womens/shoes?filter[style]=Trainers&sort=PRICE_ASC
I have a couple of pairs of the Lapin style and find them really easy to wear (both from a style and comfort point of view).
