I have just packed my mother off after having her and her dog for 2 weeks over Christmas.
I have my own business that was busy over Christmas, so I haven't had a break from that and I have also been waiting hand and foot on mother.

Having never had skin problems, I now have spots, huge saggy bags under my eyes and the skin around them is incredibly dry, they feel like sandpaper.

What can I do for my dry skin?
I'm thinking the spots are just unfortunate and will pass but I feel my baggy eyes and dry skin are a bigger problem that I need to address sharpish.

My skincare is basically a splash of water and has been forever, I don't use soap or cleansers, I do moisturise with Bath House moisturiser.

My first thought is, is there a chance you're allergic to dogs?

Definitely not, my business is a dog boarding kennels 🙈
Unless I have become allergic, which wouldn't be good.

Ahh OK I see! It's certainly possible to become allergic (to anything) after a while of not being, but it probably isn't the likely culprit.

My first recommendation for any sensitive skin is pretty much always La Roche Posay - their Toleriane range is excellent. Personally I'm not a fan of specific eye creams - I just use my usual moisturiser - but others will disagree. What cleanser do you use? The best one I've found for dry skin is bla very gentle foaming one by Curel (available in bigger Sainsbury's) that is very non-drying.
