What would you wear to a "day disco" club for over 30s?

Really looking forward to going to a club for dancing from 2-8pm 😂 my usual going out attire is wide leg tailored trousers and a blouse / top.

It's not like the old days of clubbing but I don't want to stick out! What would you wear?

I'd check out their Instagram to get an idea of what people have worn to previous events.

Hey, bumping my thread as starting to panic 😂 looked at the Instagram and Facebook pages and it's so varied. I've whittled down some ideas from my current wardrobe as I don't want to buy anything else unless needed. I'm happy to be criticised as I am not fashionable and usually dress in repro/vintage styles if going for a meal etc.

• classic black jumpsuit
• 40s wide leg trousers with blouse or fitted top
• tapered or skinny black trousers with a longer, looser style top
• black skinny /straight jeans with longer, looser top

Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. Ages in the club will range and it's during the day!

I'd probably go with a mini skirt and loose t shirt, with tights!

Is it soon? Mesh top and pinafore maybe? Or mesh top and jeans if you'd rather wear trousers?

I went to something similar and wore black body, faux leather tapered pants and cropped faux fur jacket. With trainers. Anything goes really!

Which can you dance in most comfortably out of your options? I feel like jeans could get sweaty in a hot club and lots of dancing.

I don't think I'd be comfortable in a mini skirt sadly maybe a dress though!

Both of these would be fine. I’ve been to a few and most people are in jeans and a fancy top.

I actually think the jumpsuit is the most comfortable for dancing in 🤔

Jumpsuit sounds the best out of your options. But do you know what the toilet situation is? You don’t want to battling your way out of said jumpsuit in a porta-loo!

I've been to a few of these type of things, age 40 and wore:

-denim midi skirt,vest top,adidas sambas

-smock dress,tights,DM chelsea boots,leather jacket

No 🙈🤣 didn't even think of that!

I wear a t shirt and jeans or denim skirt/boots. People will be there full sequins all the way through to just out of bed ... be comfy and have a great time!
