I really love this eye stick in the Vanilla shade but don't love the price.

I've tried finding a similar shade with a different brand but they're all shimmery.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Elf do very similar eye shadow sticks in similar colours. They are much cheaper too!

yohohoCrimbo · 01/01/2025 09:51

Thanks - seems shimmery though! The BB one is so creamy and Matt - it lifts my whole eye area. Shimmer ages me about 50 yrs Grin

No7 Stay Perfect do 4 colours too
Glistening Ray may suit but slightly glittery

Ah just seen your response to the self suggestion

Thanks though.
Appreciate your suggestions.

Happy for it to be in a chubby stick/pencil too. The vanilla is so fresh looking on my eyes. I really can't justify the price tag though!

If I found the perfect eyeshadow I would try to cut back on everything else so that I could afford it! How much would you expect to spend? Then work out how you can save the difference.

I think beauty pie do one but it isn't always in stock

Bobbi Brown eyeshadow is excellent quality, just treat yourself to the one you like

chirpes · 01/01/2025 14:58

You could buy in bulk from bobbi brown when they have offers on? There are offers on their website now

Yeah, when you've found your perfect, stick with it.
I've used the same quick nail polish and top coat for years. Then last week fell for the Seche hype, waste of £10. You could spend far more OP looking for a Bobbi Brown alternative and it never being as good.

Ariadneefron · 02/01/2025 00:41

Honestly, just spend the 25 quid and save the money elsewhere.

Mally Beauty and Julep; both available on Amazon.

I got the ultimates duo eye crayon from bperfect in the sale, it's really good and way better than it d expected

The Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks are brilliant aren't they? I use mine as standalone eyeshadows but they're also great as primers for powder eyeshadow. If at all possible I would stick with it if I were you. I was the same with my brow pencil (Benefit Goof Proof). Kept trying cheaper ones before eventually giving up and sticking with Benefit as nothing else came close.

I just brought my first bobbie brown eye shadow stick in taupe, John lewis had a mini one on sale, I must admit its the only one that doesn't crease on my lids, I will be buying another shade,

stayathomer · 06/01/2025 15:19

A warning for anyone with sensitive eyes- the eye shadows and sticks really really affect my eyes horrendously, was gutted!!!
