Under the tree was a box with this note “Dear Mommybunny, thank you for being you. Love Mommybunny” and the Bellissima Prodigy hair styler, which was purchased on the basis of the rave review on this site.
But I’m struggling with it, and can’t find much to help me. There is very little on YouTube or TikTok, mostly videos put out by Bellissima themselves. My hair is about shoulder length, thin, fine and pin straight, and mildly colour-damaged. After shampooing and conditioning in the shower I spray on a Redken leave-in conditioner as recommended by my hairdresser, and the only other product I use is a Redken hold spray after styling.
I can’t seem to get the curling cones to “catch” my ends and when I do some of the section invariably drops out and flops into a mass that’s already been done. I’m not quite sure how the “cool shot” is meant to work - am I supposed to hold down the cold button until the unit shuts off?
I tried it this morning and powered through but it took a long time. The curls themselves looked pretty good at first but have completely flopped now as though I had let my hair just dry naturally. I don’t know whether it’s the styler, the products I’m using (or not), or my incredibly clumsy technique that’s making me feel a bit frustrated.
If anyone has any tips I’d be very grateful.
