Saint + Sofia sizing

Can anyone guide me please?
I’m usually between two sizes. I’m looking at the apartment pant; shall I go for the larger or the smaller?

I’d go smaller. I have a pair I have had for years. I still wear them in the house now only as they have faded and were expensive for what they are also the returns process is painful and long winded if I remember.

I prefer NinePines now they are even more expensive but so far I like these more and look forward to wearing them. These are true to size.
