In the past year I've lost some weight and I'm rediscovering my style. I like wearing wide leg jeans with shirts or t-shirts and cropped jumpers or tank tops. Occasionally I venture into skinny jeans with some Oak and Hyde knee-length lace-up boots and a long shirt, but usually I'm in wide leg trousers or jeans. I'm lucky in that my job has very, very casual attire.
So, usually I wear Converse with my jeans and I love them. However, the weather is getting colder and I feel like I need a pair of boots to walk to work in. But I can't find any that go with wide leg jeans. What should I be looking for?
In my head I want a pair of kind of Victorian urchin / hobnail boots, but I appreciate this isn't really what's in style! Can anyone help me source the perfect pair?
Things I know I want:
Low/flat heel
Leather
Nothing too feminine
I really like boots with toes that sort of go up at the end (I have big feet and this makes them look smaller)
