Anyone use DrDent teeth whitening strips

My 17 year old son is self conscious about yellowing on his teeth. I think his teeth are a perfect colour and not yellow at all but he's super self conscious about it so bought Dr Dent whitening strips.

Has anyone ever used these?? Are they completely safe?

His teeth do look whiter but he's saying he's going to use them regularly so just want to check if anyone knows anything about them? The ingredients sound safe enough?

Nothing over the counter will whiten teeth, the legal limit of peroxide for over the counter 0.1% which wont do anything. The dentist generally prescribe anywhere from 9.5% up to 22% which at minimum is 95x stronger.

If you've bought rogue online, you may find that strips have unsafe chemicals added that can really damage gums and errode teeth.

Even though he has his adult teeth they're so young, they must be too soft for these things?

Thank you both. This was my concern!

I have had a look online at every single ingredient in them today and the effect on teeth and I think they look ok. I've got him to agree that if he does use it he only uses them before special occasions! I think the risk is more if you use them regularly. So hopefully they'll be ok!

To be honest, looking at the ingredients it looks just like what you'd find in toothpastes, so he's probably been taken for a bit of a ride!
