Help Ugg fit advice

Anyone know about Uggs and sizing?

DD had Ugg mini boots for Christmas in her usual size - the toe is snug to the front of the shoe but the heel is slipping. Does she need to size up or down or neither?!

They cost a bloody fortune and I don't want these sitting around unworn. Any thoughts appreciated.

I find they always slip at the back and I've had a few pairs now. Not sure about your toe being at the very end though - I do size up.

I go up half a size, I'm about 7.5 and get an 8, I have slightly wide feet and highish instep. I'm not sure if they have half sizes for her to go up half a size though, it could be that they are not the right shape for her feet, bigger may be worse for slippage, are they small at the toes.

If she's not had them before, they will feel odd as they are not tight fitting like other shoes/boots. Your feet do move around in them. They also ease as you wear them in.

I have always gone up a size. Can she go in to a shop and try different sizes on?

Does she wear socks with them? I don't wear socks with mine and they're fine.

She has long slim feet. Her toes reach the end and I planned to get her to try a bigger size but then she said her heels slip when she walks. I thought this usually means they're too big. Aghh

I will take her into town tomorrow to try some on but I was wondering how others find the the fit as I read that they loosen. I can't find any half sizes in this type.

Thanks for your help. For anyone in future who may be interested, we went in to try them on and she's sized up. Her feet are still slipping at the heel a little but the toe isn't tight now.
