Of plain black and white v-neck or scoop neck tops for everyday and work. Evaluating my wardrobe and this is the staple I'm currently missing. Any recommendations welcome - thank you 🙏

Also try M&S, H&M, Hobbs and Jigsaw for more spendy items, however both latter got holes in them after a while.

Tu you might have to look in store but they’re very good value. All of these are base layers, the Hobbs and Jigsaw maybe a bit better style wise.

Thanks all, these are great suggestions but I definitely want versions that are a bit less high necked - more of a definite scoop or v - I'm short and suit things that elongate a bit more. Thank you🙏

I’ve bought good quality, simple (cotton) scoop
neck T shirt type tops from Cos in the current sale. They’re perfect for layering, under a crew neck sweater for a pop of white contrast (for example), or alone with jeans and a blazer etc. They have short and long sleeve options, ‘V’ or scoop neck, and wash really well without losing their shape like some cheaper versions. Uniqlo also good or Massimo Dutti (at a higher price point but last several seasons).

Sorry to jump on your thread, but am looking for same and also roll necks in cream that aren't see through if anyone has any links. I bought the Hobbs roll neck and it's see through - not sure how to wear it.

I love my Boden double layer scoop necks, they’re pretty much the only things I buy from there but they’re such good quality and so comfy. I’ve got some I’ve had for nearly a decade and they’re still good just a bit faded from lots of washing. Great basics.
