Joggers .. loungewear … whatever!

I’m over-thinking this but cannot find what I’m after so hoping someone can post some links. Straight, wide, slim, tapered, don’t know but basically a modern day trackie bottoms that are okay to wear to the local shop, probably black but my 18 yr old says no side stripe (was looking at White Co, Baukjen, Marks, H&M). Don’t want a full sportswear look, something I can wear with a nice jumper, sweatshirt would be good. Any other places to look please and what leg style (I’m a slim although aging size 8/10)?

I can HIGHLY recommend these Goddess trousers from WearTwo. I bought a pair last year and I can honestly say they are one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. You can dress them up or down (perfect for WFH - popping to the shops / or alternatively add a blazer / jacket for a night out). I've got a pair of wool and cashmere mix joggers from Joseph which are incredibly comfy and flattering - I bought them on Vinted for less than £20.

I bought a pair of Baukjen black joggers on Vinted recently and they are smart enough that I feel able to wear them on the school run or out to coffee.

I also bought a pair of Hush wide leg cord joggers and really didn't get on with them. I wanted to like them, but they were huge (do size down if you do buy them!) and pretty unflattering.

I also have the cos ones, they’re fab. I wish I’d got more, they’re all sold out.

I wear these regularly and have in navy and black. Really comfy and cover a multitude of sins ;)

Some great suggestions on here, given your budget if looking at white company etc. I'd recommend Varley. My absolute favorite for longewear with all types of trousers from leggings to cargo, straight leg to wide and their coordinated pieces make dressing very easy.

Primark - I was very pleasantly surprised by these, (the pics don't do them justice tbh)... went back and bought them in other colours plus the matching hoodie.

Boden harem joggers or hollister Livvy wide legged trousers - ridiculously comfy, soft and with a stretchy waistband

Do they wear ok? I bought some similar from Zara recently and they've bobbled like a b before even washing!

Ps there are some in Grey in M - do they come up massive?

I'm a 12 and wear the medium. Would do a 14 too.

Decathlon do ‘yoga pants’ and they are so amazing and comfortable and look ok too. The first time I put them on I said ‘I am never wearing anything else’ they feel so soft it’s unbelievable.

I have unfortunately had to wear other clothes since but every time I put them on I am so happy. I love them.
