Led acne

Not sure if this is the right forum to post on but my son has developed acne . It has been gradually getting worse in last year . Saw doctor in sept who said to try benzoyl peroxide for 3 mths then come back . It has def not worse not better with that cream so we are back on Jan .

Last night I was looking up online and saw that some people recommended led blue masks or similar but they are really expensive.

Has anyone used for acne and has any positive results ?
Which one ?

I've got the Lux skin one.

While I don't have acne, I do get large painful red spots under the surface which take ages to go. When I feel the heat from one starting to come, I use the mask nightly and it does seem to stop them coming up as badly or from lasting as long as they used to.
