Sonia Rykiel sizing

I've been looking at Sonia Rykiel jumpers on Brand Alley ( to spend Christmas money), but can anyone advise me what size to order that's equivalent to a size 12?

Unsolicited advice, I really wouldn't spend my Christmas money on Sonia Rykiel. The brand has had so many owners over the last decade so sizing advice would depend on who owned the brand when these jumpers were made. The owners have been venture capitalist types looking to cash in on the name rather than invest in the heritage of quality it once had. I remember being rather shocked at them charging hundreds for a half acrylic jumper made in China a few years back. There's much better knitwear out there even for the knocked down Brand Alley prices.

I got a jumper from Sonia Rykiel on Vinted. It was £12 and as it's thin wool it was snagged in a couple of places. I love it though. I think it was a medium and it's quite tight on me. I often buy size 10 as I like things very fitted.
