Did you have a face and or neck lift (UK ONLY) in 2024?

If so, how are you?
Are you pleased with the results?
Who was your surgeon and would you recommend?

Thank you ☺️

Bumping for the morning crowd.

I'm interested in these procedures, I'm not just being nosey!

I had a minimal invasive facelift. It's the PDO threadlift and I had a bit of botox and filler with it. TBH, they're supposed to last around 18 months, but I've had a lot of stress and 12 months in I would like to have it again as I feel it's not working as well as I'd like so I'm going to have a review with my aesthetic practitioner in the NY. It may well be that they tell me I'm not 'ready' for it.

Perhaps this is something to look at first?

I would definitely avoid threads if you ever want a surgical facelift - they create lots of scar tissue and make it much harder to do a successful lift

My intention is to go big and get it done in one go, I have had a few non surgical options but it's time to commit to going under the knife!

I've posted before that I had a lower face and neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty done by Alex Karidis at the Hospital of St Elizabeth and St John in St John's Wood, London in 2017. I know you are looking for more recent recommendations but I thought I would mention it as I am still so happy with the results. He has given me a very natural look and it has lasted well. I have a little bit of Botox in my 11s every 10 months or so but apart from that I have not needed anything else done. I don't know how much he charges now but I would definitely recommend having a consultation with him if you are able to get to London.

@LilyRose88 thank you so much. Yes, I was looking for someone with more recent experience, but it was very kind of you to respond 💐

I haven't had the procedure myself, but I have been researching, and I met someone recently who had a deep plane facelift, necklift, and upper eyelids earlier this year. She is very happy with her surgon Mallappa Kolar and recommended him to me. Her results looked great, got rid of the loose skin and sagging.
