Zara Jean sizing

I'm looking to order some jeans from Zara and it has an option to put in your height and weight and it recommends a size. This is giving me a 10 but I usually wear a 12. Do Zara run big? I don't want to have to order 2 sizes if I can possibly help it

I think they do run big. I tend to wear a 10 most places but in Zara I usually fit an 8.

Depends how you want them to fit, in my experience. I'm usually a 10 and recently bought a 10 in Zara wide leg jeans. They're roomy as I wanted them to be - I could have probably squeezed in an 8 but they would have looked much more fitted.

How do you like your clothes to look on you?

I love Zara’s styles but their fabrics tend to be thin and the putting together very skimpy - for which reason I generally size up, even if it means the garment is a bit big in absolute terms, in order to achieve a more elegant look.
