I am looking for a pair of black jeans (or variable shades of grey) to wear with the legs rolled up just on top of where my ankle boots start.
I am only 5.2" and although the length of the leg can be altered if necessary, I am struggling to find mid or low rise. The current trend for high rise is dreadful for me. Boyfriend can work as long as the fabric is not too rigid, as I have curves. I am a size 10.
I have been able to find the odd low-rise pair but only with a baggy leg. I need a slim/straight leg in order to wear them the way I want. Definitely not skinny though.
I am 53 and my bum doesn't look as perky as it used to. I tried these from Mango and they made my bum look bloody awful: https://www.johnlewis.com/mango-blanca-straight-crop-jeans/black/p112410632?size=10&s_ppc=2dx_mixed_fashion_BAU&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA34S7BhAtEiwACZzv4fqQORe6Cvdb_-AuM__mUATfwvwS3qJnQQFXmqaY1VMAzO84aH33lBoCwEgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I have not been successful with Levi's because of the leg/rise combo. Just hoping for some recommendations please, but not M&S please, they're the worst when it comes to waist-crotch ratio!!
Budget up to £150.😊
