Teeth whitening ....

Being nosy has anyone had this fine at dentists and we're you pleased with the result & if you don't mind sharing the cost

My dentists are offering it for £475

Had it done about 15 years ago for my wedding. I was really pleased with the look of them, but I found they made my teeth so sensitive I wouldn't bother again.

I also got it done for my wedding, last year. That sounds a reasonable price, I was around the same. It was fine, I'm glad I did it for the occasion, but I've not bothered to repeat it.

I got it done last year alongside some other work (implant and 2 veneers to correct misshapen / damaged teeth). We did the whitening before the new parts were made so they would all match. The difference was amazing, they still look natural but noticeably whiter than they ever have been. People now comment on how great my teeth are. I paid about the same as you (can’t remember exact amount as it was part of a long list) but I would highly recommend it.

I'm also looking at getting 4 front teeth sorted - probably compact bonding but it's expensive and I'm worried how it will look - hopefully amazing - would be doing it as a preventative measure as from teeth small and small chip on each

It'll largely depend in the dentist and what system they use.

My old dentist used to have a sale twice a year on whitening so around £170 for the whitening kit and customer trays.

My current dentist charges £800 for similar. My local one charges £295 including custom trays.

Once you have the trays you only need the syringes. I get mine for £50 for three which cleans off all stains. Last time I finished the course was for my wedding and several people commented in how white my teeth were. Not that they were gross before but whitening gives a different kind of brightness than just natural white.

I usually just top up once a year.

I am in the process now, on day 3 and I am noticing a big difference already. For context i am 60 and have never used any kind of whitening product before and my teeth are quite stained and yellow. It cost 400 (in Ireland) and if they keep brightening up as well as they have started I will get a very good result. I have had no sensitivity so far.
