Does anyone have a pair of Barbour mini wellington boots? Would you recommend?

I rather like the look of these, with too many years of not wearing my inexpensive mini wellington boots as they are uncomfortable.

Does anyone have them? Are they good enough for an hour's dog walking??

Is it worth spending an extra £10 on the shearling lining which sounds rather lovely?

At £55/65 its a big investment for me for wellingtons so only want to get them if they are really comfortable and Ill use them lots!

I had some and they split after about 9 months. Other than that they were fine. I now have some from Merry people however which I love. So comfy. I can walk for hours in them.

How's the sizing on these @piscofrisco

I've got some(very cheap in Jones closing down sale) and so far in my second winter, they are OK. Much like any other wellies. I take a four and they are bang on.

Gosh those Merry people ones are gorgeous - I'm going to hang out and hope they appear in sale after Christmas! That's a ringing endorsement @piscofrisco - Love to know about the sizing too - what size do you take and do you wear thick woolley socks inside?

I have had a pair of short Aigle wellies for approximately 10 years now, so would recommend. They're comfortable enough for walking my dog. I've just looked on their website though, and the prices seem to have gone up, so maybe wait for a sale.

@stringsoup sixzing is bang on for me-I take a 6 and I've have fairly narrow feet and they are fine

I've had my pair for 3 years now and they are just now starting to lose their grip on the soles. They have done alot of dog walking.
Very comfortable and true to size. Will certainly be replace like for like when I need to.

Also the Merry people ones don't go on sale unfortunately. Can't remember the reason why but I think it's on the website
