I'm looking for a pair of gorgeous chestnut coloured ankle boots with not too high heels - can you help?

I've got a gorgeous sludge green wool dress which this thread has wonderfully helped me find a great rusty orange polo neck to wear underneath - all I'm lacking is a pair of beautiful chestnutty boots.

Any ideas? Ideally around £80-£160 and very comfortable!

I prefer a heel that isn't very high....

I have these and they are soo comfortable, I wear them pretty much every day in autumn/winter! I have them in hazelnut and black, I think the hazelnut is the closest to what I would call chestnut but they do sienna as well which is a more orangey brown

Im still hoping for a fairly classic, unfussy, perhaps one small detail like a buckle - real chestnut coloured, rich reddy brown, ankle boots so hope there might be a few more ideas

I'm not finding it too hard to find many, many options when I google, but your description of the boots is very vague. Leather/non-leather, how high up the leg, square/almond/round/pointed toe, heel shape, etc etc. I suspect that's why people are struggling.

PP's suggestion of the Jones the Bootmaker boots look the right sort of colour. There are lots of options on there, e.g.

These from Mint Velvet? They call them neutral but I’d say more chestnut.

I find this website quite good when you're looking for something specific as their taxonomy is really good and there's a wide range of products from the highstreet so super easy to search.
