Which hair straightener

Hello,
I have tried searching but was getting posts from 2009 which seemed a bit out of date. I desperately need some new hair straighteners, I have looked at GHD and Cloud Nine and could stretch to them but are they really worth the money? If not, what would people recommend from personal experience- or what should I avoid. My hair is mid length and naturally frizzy and wavy. Thanks.

I have Cloud Nine and very happy with them. They heat up quickly, switch themselves off 😂

I have the GHD gold and happy with those, I spent out on the platinum prior to that but they broke after two years so paying for the most expensive ones in GHD is not worth it imo no difference in performance.
I've read others recommend the Remington shine as a budget option but I've not tried it.

I now have the Dyson air strait which is pricey but love it, I hardly use my GHD anymore.

I love my cloud nines, I have thick, "difficult", wavy frizzy hair and they cope with that.

Haven't used GHD's for years so can't compare.

Thank you, I wondered about the Remington’s but they seem to have mixed reviews. Unfortunately the Dyson ones are out of my price range!
