How to Style Boucle Jacket?

I would love one of those boucle Chanel style jackets, but they seem to styled either with a mini skirt or jeans. I am up for jeans as a smart casual option but how could I wear it to the office without looking matronly? Or should I resolve to jeans only pairing?

chanel shaped jackets are fairly versatile.
Will always work with cigarette trousers or pencil skirt. For a more modern look, one of those long pleated skirts or satin bias cut skirt.
Depends if wearing for office or seeing friends.

They're really easy to style, it's more a question of finding a great every day pair of trousers. Khakis, chinos or some other neutral cotton twill relaxed or barrel-leg trouser. For ideas, look at YMC, Margaret Howell, Studio Nicholson etc. COS also have loads of trousers that will work too. Ditto Zara. There's masses of suitable trousers out there!

I also love a little bouclé jacket OP but never know how to wear them other than with jeans. Smart trousers work too. It doesn't feel quite right with skirts or dresses though.
