Popsocks that feel normal socks….

….. or normal socks that have a look of pop socks/something daintier???

I dont know if such a thing exists. How on earth do people wear Mary Jane shoes in winter? I can’t stand the feel of no socks even in summer! I don’t love the feel of pop socks as feet still feel cold but I suppose your normal run of the mill black socks from primark aren’t going to look right are they? Is there a pretty sock or stylish option that allows warm feet without looking too strange?

I have some gold Mary Jane’s I would love to wear over the festive period (nothing formal, just gatherings with friends etc) but no idea how to style them. All my dresses are midi/maxi so would I look weird wearing cosy tights with such a long dress and Mary Jane shoes? I feel I would look a little like a governess from a Charles Dickens novel perhaps!

What about wearing them with some fancy socks? I can't link it but if you search socks on Oliver Bonas you can see how they pair them with flat shoes. Pic attached

Not exactly the same, mine are lace on the top toe bit, but look like they'd do the same job.

I really rate them, the grippy bit around the inside edge keeps them on my feet perfectly.
