Updating my make-up look: eyeshadow for brown (South Asian) skin?!

I have never applied eye-shadow, and have no idea how to. Not sure what would be a good, everyday sort of colour for South Asian skintones? Any recommendations for products (ideally on amazon?)

You're so lucky with that colour skin nearly every colour works.

I'd try to tone it in with your outfit, not match but the same colour family.

I’m similar skin tone and like creamy eyeshadow sticks or pots for everyday looks. Try Kiko, Charlotte Tilbury or Lisa Eldridge. Earthy warm browns or muted gold (if you like some shimmer) look great on our skin with black or dark brown kohl eyeliner

This….., “any” random colours need to be applied with a bit of experience and with expensive brands that have depth and don’t disappear on skin.

in addition to the ones suggested, Laura mercier has a good stick eyeshadow but watch out for some of the paler shades.

if you do want to experiment with colour, soft eyeliners (nyx) are cheaper enough. I like navy blue and green but shades can be - but chalky
