Ive never touched my brows, they've always been fine, not too unruly but as im getting older they're getting a bit wild.... Long stragglers that are difficult to pluck and have now ended up with a wee patchy bit!!
I'd like some one to sort them but i dont know what 'treatment' would be best. Any brow experts? Any advice?

I would recommend a threading and tinting treatment OR "hd" brow requesting a natural look .

They will be greatly improved by a tint ! It's crazy how it can make such a dramatic difference

If you're on a budget try to find a local Asian salon ( Indian / Pakistani / Bangladeshi) as they often much cheaper options for threading services and are generally from my experience FABULOUS at brows .

You can get your most of your body threaded near me for the price of just a brow treatment elsewhere

The reason it's cheaper is that threading is more of a cultural practice , people learn it at home also and can do their own

It was taken into western salons as a "premium service"

LoafofSellotape · 10/12/2024 22:56

I think they're lovely!

Use nail scissors to trim the stragglers instead of plucking.

I agree - go for threading for the shape, and then use brow mascara or a professional tint to give definition and even tone. I love how much well-shaped eyebrows make a difference.

I have the same problem. Baldy patches and as my brows are naturally black it's really noticeable. For some reason I've developed eczema just above my brows so I won't risk any kind of treatment like HD brows or microblading. I solved my problem for a fiver! Make Up Revolution brow pomade. It's brilliant...almost foolproof. It's a little pot of product and a tiny brush....less than a minute and my brows are 100% better looking. There's a choice of shades too.

Thanks everyone. I did try adding a bit of colour myself but it went horribly wrong. I need some thing that i can't accidentally wipe off or sweat off.... When i sweat currently my eyebrows get the eyebrow equivalent of hat head 😳

Also recommend threading to get a nice shape. I dye mine used men’s beard dye. Or you can by brow tint.

I use the ELF brow mascara in neutral brown, it's really good and doesn't shift until you remove it.

Shaping and tinting will help. You can learn to tint at home, it's so easy.

Maybe consider something like UKLash Brow. At 50 it's keeping my brows nice and full. I use it every other to few days.

Your eyebrows are fine looking as they are, just natural .
Stragglers brush up towards your forehead and cut with scissors.
Tint if you want to it's easy & cheap esp using beard dye, be aware not to go too dark.
Brown shaping is quite easy to do your self if you Google hoe to ( certain points of you face help choose the shaping of your brows.
Brows should not be identical ( your face is not identical)
Too "done" brows can look very off if you are not a make up wearer .

Wheelyfast · 11/12/2024 00:17

Should have said use lip balm/vaseline as barrier when tinting it cheap & you probably already have it .

Wheelyfast · 11/12/2024 00:20

Face identical ? I meant your left and right are different eg mirrored face
