Cream eyeshadow

I have just discovered the joys of cream eyeshadow (TrinnyLondon) in my mid-50s and think it looks so much better on somewhat creased eyelids!

So far I have just been using a neutral colour all over the eyelid, putting it on with my finger but wondering about getting a darker shade for evening and wondering do I add this in and shade with my finger or use an eyeshadow brush (or are eyeshadow brushes only suitable for powder eyeshadows)??

You can use a brush with a cream eyeshadow! I would just make sure I cleaned it so it didn’t go a bit gungy post use.

i also love the Laura mercier caviar sticks - they’re a creamy eyeshadow in a stick form and you can just draw it/swipe it on and then blend with a small brush.

I like the sticks too. Bobbi Brown does them (they’re lovely) but so does Kiko, which is loads cheaper. I’m going to try them next.

The Bobbi Brown ones are good. I've used the Laura Mercier ones but from memory, the colour selection was less good? There's also the Victoria Beckham pencils which I understrand are more like cream almost in terms of how they go on? Will check out Kiko - I like the idea of a few shade options and the BB ones are pricey.

Very expensive, but I love Charlotte Tilbury “Eyes to Mesmerise” range. Champagne and Oyster Pearl are my favourite.

You can't beat the By Terry Ombre black star ones. The best ime.
