Moisturiser to use after retinol

I've recently increased to a 1% retinol serum and my face is definitely needing way more moisture than usual.

I'm nearing the end of Cerave PM which is working well but it's a bit dull and I'd like something that has a nice scent! However, I have read that you should be careful after retinol not to irritate your skin with perfumes and that I should use a ceramide based cream which I am
assuming Cerave is?

So, ultimately, if that's the best option I'll stick with it, but would be good to hear if anyone else who's more in the know than I am with retinol use could recommend a slightly more less utility feeling option!

No way?! I've asked for a small pot of this for Christmas as I've had it in the past and loved it - that's excellent news!

I like the yellow Dr Jart cream.
Boots carry it and they also do travel
sizes.

I'll be moving up to 1% soon when my current 0.5 runs out

My plan is to mix it with moisturiser if it's too strong

@ChardonnaysBeastlyCat that's very useful so I will probably get a smaller quantity to see how I get on with it thanks!
