What shoes are everyone wearing to Christmas parties? I’m wearing a little black dress with thin tights and I can’t decide on shoes this year

I’m wearing a knee length black velvet dress. Was thinking of wearing silver, kitten heeled shoes. Can’t decide if sheer black or nude tights would work best.
