Face cream that smells lovely?!

I thought I’d struck lucky with this face cream-felt and smelt amazing, but the second pot has arrived and it smells of nothing! They must have changed the formula in the last few months -how bizarre.

Has anyone got any recommendations of anything that smells really nice? Double points for not being really expensive!

I use Nivea rose day cream, smells like Johnson's baby lotion, it works well on my over 40 dry face, I have never needed to moisture my face until recently, so I know nothing about face creams, but I can't use thick luxurious creams.

Good old Nivea blue for me. A timeless smell that reminds me of when I was little, sneaking bits out of my mums pot.

I love the smell of Nivea Q10 face cream. It doesn't smell of anything identifiable like a flower or fruit. It just has that lovely fresh beauty product scent iykwim. DH often says, 'You smell nice' when I come to bed after putting it on.

Origins Ginzing smells gorgeous. So does Occitane's immortelle divine but they are both £££. I only have samples from previous M&S beauty bags.

Sukin night cream. Smells lovely, very effective and is about £7 on Amazon.

Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial is very scented. It's a nice smell but I do find it a bit much sometimes. If you like a nice strong scent you might really like it. If I had to describe it I'd say it was a candy fruit scent.

Garnier Vit C brightening day cream. Quite fruity -whenever I put it on DD says yum what’s that smell and thinks it’s perfume.

Mine too really. I'm struggling to use it up. It's a shame because it's a nice cream and a nice smell - it just need to be a bit more subtle!

Superfacialist creams smell lovely abs generally less than a tenner a pot

Seconded re Superfacialist. All their products smell lovely - citrus or rose 🌹
